Rochester Lancers Youth Academy midfielder Jordan Miller will continue her soccer career at Division I NAIA Indiana University East (IUE).  Jordan signed her letter of intent this week with IUE Head Coach Shane Meridith at her side at the Glacier Ridge Sports Park Dome where she and her club teammates train. Jordan will graduate from Brockport High School this spring.  She chose IUE after multiple recruiting visits with college coaches from around the Midwest and Northeast.

At the signing ceremony, Coach Meridith (link to bio) said he is excited to bring someone of Jordan’s character, academic success and soccer skills to his program. She has been accepted into their Honors program and will be majoring in Mathematics.

In addition to the athletic scholarship that Coach Meridith is awarding her, the university is awarding Jordan with IUE’s Distinguished Scholars and Red Wolves Scholarship and a place in their Honors program. She was awarded these additional scholarships not only for her academics (98+ average) but the other clubs/activities in which she participates at Brockport.

The IUE Red Wolves finished this past season with a 13-3-4 record, winning the 2019 River Conference Championship, and earning a bid to the NAIA National tournament. The IUE campus is located in Richmond, Indiana.
